Tellink has determined that there are two primary components required for successful technology purchasing for any organization. They are:
The organization must have a complete understanding of how the acquisition will contribute to their ability to further and/or complete a specific process or objective.
The organization must have the ability and make the commitment to change management required by the acquisition.
Our definition of success then is to help our customers determine their needs and through our process empower them to select a vendor that can provide a solution that best fits their business objectives. That process is typically broken into the following components:
Needs Analysis Tellink will interview key management in the organization to determine general business processes and assess specific needs and requirements regarding impending acquisition. Tellink will also submit a short written survey to employees affected by the acquisition. This helps us discover needs not realized or understood by management. The surveys also help with change management as the employees are notified that something is about to happen and involves them in the process.
Timeline Tellink will create a project plan based on customer requirement that will include dates and deliverables.
Equipment and Service Audit Tellink will analyze bills and audit current equipment and software levels to create a baseline understanding of the business environment. During service audits we often discover significant savings in monthly services that contribute to the ROI for acquisitions
Creating RFPs (Requests For Proposals) Tellink will create an RFP that is specifically based on the information collected in the needs analysis.
Manage the RFP Process Tellink will submit the RFP to a qualified vendor pool and manage questions and responses.
RFP Analysis and Results Tellink will present RFP results to customer and assist with the selection of two or three finalists.
Product Demos If appropriatem, Tellink will schedule and supervise product demos at vendor facilities.
Vendor Selection Tellink will assist customer with a final vendor selection.
